• Squeak toy race – put two or three squeak toys at the front of the class and put students into groups to solve a problem or complete a task. When they thing they’re finishes, one student has to run up and give it a squeak. if they’re right, they get a point, if not, the game continues.
• Squeak the mistake – Engage in a reading out-loud activity to practice pronunciation or another acuracy-focused activity. One student in the group is in charge of squeaking when they think they hear an error. The first person to correct it gets a point.
• Introduce a “Mystery Sound Game.” Squeeze the toy when it’s time to switch activities, line up, or transition between subjects—students learn to listen and respond quickly in a playful way.
